CLIENT Temple IsraelLOCATION Bloomfield Hills, MI, USAAfter years of make-shift outdoor services during COVID, Temple Israel was in need of a permanent outdoor structure to house both religious and secular programming. Imagined as a modern tabernacle, this mass timber pavilion forges an aesthetic language that embraces the future while paying respect to the rich heritage and tradition of the existing campus.
